No. I am not looking to define here what Multi Level Marketing is. The fact that you are here, you must be involve in this industry or you are looking to get in to this industry and you are trying to find answers on whether you should quit now if you are already involve in an MLM company or if you should join one.
Before I got into the MLM or network marketing industry, I was an OFW, working as a Sales Consultant and earning pretty big, modesty aside. So I was not the typical target prospect of not being happy at work and earning low income even if I was already working abroad. I was earning really big because of my sales commissions which I have to work hard for and I was happy doing my job. I don’t have a hard time waking up early in the morning to go to work or to even do overtime and stay longer because I was motivated and target driven for I was earning really well with my performance. I was being paid base on my sales performance so I know that my hard work was being rewarded and recognized by the company. And though I know that when I do overtime, I am not being paid for the hours but only with the sales that I am going to get for that day, I was okay with it because for me, my sales commissions were more important than my basic salary and overtime pay. That’s how I was committed to my job.
So why then did I got into Multi Level Marketing?
Five years ago, I bought a product from an MLM company and became a loyal customer since it was really effective. Then I got interested doing the business side of it. And when I studied how much money I can really make if I get serious in doing the business full time, the potential was just so big that until now, I stayed in the MLM industry.
And the reason why I’ll never quit on this industry is the same reason why I loved my job before as a Sales Consultant but with bigger rewards, more recognition plus self fulfilment that I am not only earning for myself but my hard work contributes to the success of my team, my downlines and including my upline. There’s a big difference when you are working only for yourself and the company from working for yourself and for other people using the company as vehicle to create big changes in other people’s lives.
For me, the reward is more fulfilling when you know that you are part of something bigger and that is making a big difference in the world, changing lives and creating an impact of people helping people.
